This is Gracie Margaret at 6 months- see post September of 2005...our little kidddos look like brother and sister for sure. It is so neat to see the looks and how their little personalities develop.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all. We celebrated this weekend with Sunday dinner at Gigi and Papa's house in IL. A yummy steak dinner fit for the Dads! It was a nice and relaxing. Josh and I were also able to work in the yard and on the house thanks to our "Mother's Helper" we had over on Saturday morning. Our friend's little girl who played with Grace while Tommy slept-- the WAY to go to get things done. All had a ball! We had our fence installed which is so great. Now, we can have the kids outside and not worry about the "runaway". It does look quite pretty, I will have to take a picture of our house and post it. Big changes have been done to the outside, you just might drive by it. I wish I had before and after pics.

And the week is off and running. Busy one ahead. Grace starts her little park district class again and I think Tommy will really enjoy it too now that he is so interactive. And, we have zoo class this week. It is a little class for 2 year olds at the zoo. This one is about animal sounds - looks like fun:) Between that and kid swapping and play group on Friday, the little campers are pooped to pop at night. So are mommy and daddy;)

Will try again next year. Went a different route this year:)

Lesson: Do not take a picture when children are hungry, tired, or at the age of 2 and 5 months when all they want to do is roll over each other. Makes for spazzy mommy.

BUT, I love how they are looking at each other....still a keeper and had to share on the blog.

Summer Fun

Sorry for the lack of pictures...we will get our act together this weekend and get some up on here. All is well on the homefront. Last weekend, mommy went to Chicago and had a girls night. It was so much fun and we crashed at Tim's place. Daddy stayed with the kids and did an awesome job-- they had so much fun together. They met friends at the zoo, played a ton and even took them out to the "Noodle store" for dinner as Gracie calls, " Noodles and Co." The kids are having too much fun this summer. Gracie is loving being outside and out and about and Tommy is becoming his own little person. He laughs at his sister all the time. She is definitely his favorite person in the whole world next to his Mommy and Daddy of course;) Teddy is still Teddy and continues to be our lovable pain in the patootie puppy! :) I say that with much love for that goofy dog.
