Big Girl First...

Today while Daddy, Papa and Uncle Tim were at the PGA tournament, Gracie and Mommy and Gigi Barrett had a Girls Day! Grace got her first haircut! I thought she would be freaking out but, she LOVED the haircut. In fact, she did not even notice her hair was being trimmed as she played in the racecar, watched Elmo and read a book. Is there any better way of getting your hair cut?! She is definitely a mini version of her mommy and loving the hair salon! Daddy has a long road ahead of him:) She was quite proud when the boys came home to show off her new hairdo and bow. Too funny. When the Daddy is away, the girls will play...;) Pictures to come.

Hot, hot, hot! This summer is sure a hot one. This morning, bright and early after Grace woke up (today was earlier than usual because she knew her buddy Matthew was coming over for a visit so, we moved her along) , she says "outside, mommy! SHOES!" and so after we got our shoes on... we played outside in our onesie and all! We then took Teddy for a walk up the street and she waved to the neighbors as they were leaving for work, especially our Daddy. The daily ritual. Is this how people survive in places like AZ?!! ;)

The early bird is sure catching the worm here on 94th Street. More pictures to follow:). Stay Cool.
