Our family~ April 15th, 2007

Thomas Joshua's Baptism on Sunday, April 15th, 2007. We had him baptized at our church, Christ King Parish. It is up the street from our house here in Tosa. Tommy wore Uncle Tim's Christening suit that Tim wore 30 years ago. What a special heirloom to be passed down.

I am feeling better!! HOOORAY!! The cold bug bit our little Tommy and today he is back to his happy go lucky self!!

Another fun-filled weekend for the Mount Family! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Barrett's house this past weekend for a long-weekend visit. I took the kids down on Thursday night and we stayed until Sunday. Josh stayed back until Saturday as he did some "Spring Cleaning" of our garage by taking STUFF to the dump. And what I mean by stuff is that we have had a fridge, a washing machine and a door from the side of our house stuffing our garage along with the oodles of kid stuff. SO...we are now in major cleaning mode which makes for a happy mommy:) It worked out great because we had a playdate with our IL buddies on Friday. It was a blast to see all of our friends and catch up. The kids are all too cute and there is just nothing like old friends. It is true that old friends are the best friends. Between the five of us we now have 9 kids and 1 on the way in May! That makes for a fun time for the kids and even more fun for us girls to catch up--that is why we schedule GNO's...Otherwise, we would never finish thoughts:) Anywho, that was a great day. On Sunday, Colleen and Devin visited mom and dad's house and it was awesome to see them too. Pictures are posted, again, great to catch up in person and they got to meet Tommy J for the 1st time. After that visit, we all went to dinner to celebrate the March birthdays, Grandma, Mommy and Gracie. We had such a yummy dinner!! Again, it was QT time with family and that was awesome!!

So, back to WI:) We have had some big projects going on at home. Today we got our house painted! What a change BUT definitely better. We went with a taupey-gray trim color to bring out the cream city brick color and a classic red door (not , cherry red, not brick red but, a pretty red) I can't take any credit for the color as I go to the paint store on the corner and they basically said, email a pic of your house and wallaaaaaaa! The decorator told me what color to do. We also just finished getting glass block windows installed and a new side door. This is really becoming home.

Grace and Tommy are doing great!! Tommy is the sweetest little guy! Every day, he makes us smile and just love him to pieces!! I could not imagine what life was like without him. I can't believe he is 3 months old. It is going WAY too fast. Gracie is a riot! Total 2 year old. she is so funny and makes us laugh every day. So smart that little girl, each day she amazes us!! It is such a blessing to have two healthy and happy children.
