SO....I am sitting her during our beloved nap time in the Mount house and just realized that I have not updated Grace's blog in a while let alone, really had quality time surfing the web!! Life has been totally busy! So, I have decided to update in writing today:)
All is good on the homefront here. We leave on Saturday for Grandma and Grandpa's Barrett's place in AZ...we are looking forward to vacay, a much needed one for Josh as he has been working like a dog and myself and Grace. Teddy will be staying at hotel Grandma and Grandpa Mount. He loves going there and they magically take such good care of him that he comes back a very tired little pup! In fact, last weekend they took him so, Josh could go on his golfing weekend to Kohler and I was able to take Gracie down to my friends' for a girls night. Such a treat. Well, the dog has been sleeping since:) We like a mellow Teddy, that is for sure.
Josh has been taking Grace to swim lessons to get her ready for the pools in AZ, she loves them. I can't say that about the first week as I guess she cried but, each week is easier for her and Daddy! While they are swimming, I teach classes at the Tosa Rec. dept. and I love it! It is the class that Gracie takes on Monday mornings. Her teacher asked me if I wanted to take on a few classes and it has worked out great! I enjoy meeting the kids and parents. It is so nice to know more people in the area. I also have one on Monday nights that works our well as it is nice to escape the house after the day.
While we are on vacay, we are getting wood floors redone so, we can begin the great ROOM SWITCH! Gracie will be moving into the extra room which we are making her palace and the baby will be going into her room. Of course, we are painting so the little dude does not have a trace of pink in his room;) It will be a slow process and we are in no hurry to rush her into the big girl bed. We will be in prebaby mode when we get back...the time is flying and our little guy will be here so fast. Gracie has now officially accepted that the baby is in Mommy's tummy (not hers) and she will give him kisses. AND, if you ask her if she wants a baby brother, the answer is "OK!!" Well, when she realizes he is here for good, we shall see what she has to say;)
SO, that is some of the scoop for now...pictures will be posted of our trip and Halloween soon!! Gracie will be a chicken this year for Halloween as she has the "bawk, bawk" and walk down pat. It will be pretty funny:)

Sounds like fun. Good for you that you're able to get out a bit. So crucial. I am still trying to find that balance! How fun to decorate for a boy. Enjoy AZ and the warm weather!
